Blair H. Green, MPT, OCS, CSCS

"I love working at One on One, because it is an environment where I have total autonomy to decide how best to manage and treat my patients. My skills as a PT have truly thrived being surrounded by mentors and having the opportunity to co-treat and dynamically problem solve with my colleagues."

Barbara Vaughan is an honors graduate of Emory University School of Medicine with a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Special Electives in Advance Pediatrics and Advanced Orthopaedics. She additionally holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The College of William and Mary.

Prior to joining One on One, Barbara worked as a Physical Therapist at The Sports Rehabilitation Center, with a focus on sports related injuries, and also served as a Manager and Volunteer Coordinator.
Barbara believes in treating each individual as a whole, not just a body part. From a musculoskeletal standpoint, she approaches each patient by examining the entire body and assessing how the injury relates to the rest of the body. She also feels it is important to consider and address accordingly the patient’s emotional and psychosocial well-being, as each can have a significant impact on physical health.

Barbara works with a variety of clients, ranging from young college athletes to middle-aged business professionals to retired senior citizens. One of her most rewarding patient experiences was her success treating a 4-Star General. He was suffering from significant nerve damage in his arm following neck surgery and came to Barbara with a paralyzed right arm. After six months of treatment, Barbara helped the General regain 100% full functional use of his right upper extremity. Dedicated patients like this keep Barbara passionate about her work and proud of what she does for a living.

Barbara is trained in Redcord Neurac and is a PMA Pilates Certified Teacher and Polestar trained Pilates Instructor. She is trained to perform Trigger Point Dry Needling. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Orthopaedic Section, and a member of the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia. She continues professional education with advanced coursework, research, and The American Physical Therapy Association conferences.

Barbara was born in Sicily and grew up overseas; she is fluent in Italian and French, and also familiar with Arabic and Spanish. Barbara is married to Woody Vaughan and they have a daughter, Aurelia. Barbara loves outdoor activities, including running, mountain biking, and rollerblading with her Doberman Pinscher, Nero. She also enjoys playing tennis, volleyball and scuba diving.
