At One on One Physical Therapy, massage therapy is an important adjunct to physical therapy. Our Physical Therapists and Massage Therapists work together, communicating as a team, to offer you a specific treatment plan, tailored to your needs.

Helen Besal

  • Graduate of Atlanta School of Massage
  • Member of the American Massage Therapy Association
  • Certified by the National Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork 
  • Specializes in deep tissue massage
  • Trained in myofascial release and cranio-sacral techniques
  • Former instructor of Swedish massage at the Academy of Somatic Healing Arts
  • Over ten years as a volunteer massage therapist at Camp Sunshine, a camp for children with cancer

Rosemarie Idler, LNMT

  • Graduate of Atlanta School of Massage
  • Certified by the National Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork 
  • Specializes in pain relief and injury rehabilitation
  • Utilizes clinical, deep tissue, Swedish, myofascial, neuromuscular and Thai massage as well as Foot Reflexology, CranioSacral Therapy (CST), and Hydrotherapy

MASSAGE POLICIES AND ETIQUETTE

  • Out of respect for both our therapists' and clients' time, One on One Physical  Therapy requires at least 24-hour notice for massage cancellation
  • Late-cancels, late arrivals, and no-shows will incur a charge of the full cost of the massage
  • Please refrain from wearing perfume and cologne
  •  Jewelry must be removed
  • Newcomers, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and receive a tour of our facility
  • Cell phones must be turned on silent
  • Remember that massage relieves stress, but does not replace the need for medical attention in the case of stress-related injury or illness. As a new client, you will complete a health history form to assist the therapist in creating a personalized treatment plan that is appropriate for your health needs
